The purpose of our work is to preserve historic stained and architecturalglass. We do this in three ways:
Advising on the restoration and maintenance of stained and architectural glass that represents the needs of the windows and their owners, free from influence by contractors
Educating owners on the proper and appropriate care and restoration of stained and architectural glass, through reports, lectures, and articles
Researching the history of stained glass in America, in order to better understand its artistry, purpose, uses, and technology.
REAL TO REEL - St. Brigid Stained Glass
The magnificent stained-glass windows of St. Brigid church in Amherst are part of the rich heritage and legacy of the parish… last fall, parishioners learned more about the fascinating history of these treasures from a well-known stained-glass conservation consultant… Steve Kiltonic visited the downtown Amherst church and spoke to the former North Adams resident about St. Brigid’s renowned Munich-style windows.
